    User validation bug?

    The first time I had a problem was when a customer was using two NT7 indicators and one suddenly went to trial mode and complained loudly that the trial was expired. No matter what we tried nothing worked until the customer generated a new custom ID which I entered for both indicators. This exact thing then occurred with the next customer. Now, this morning another customer is having the same problem and he is using just one, unrelated indicator. I now have extra license entries I would like to clean out. Is it safer to delete an entry with the NT7 ID's? I also have a suggestion for the Vendor Licensing module. Could the ID field be made longer so we can see at least part of the additional ID information without having to hover?

    Edit: I see where the fields and box can be re-sized, so it isn't very pressing to change anything there.

    Hi Dan:

    Thank you for posting and I hope this finds you well. It is fine to remove unique Machine ID's. You can remove the unique NT 7 id's that include the suffixes assuming no other user is creating and using the same suffix/machine ID (this combination should be very rare).

    Also, the ID field can be extended by dragging the column splitter to make it a larger field. Please feel free to follow up with me directly if the problems persist.

      Thanks Ryan but you skipped right over the original question. Why is the Vendor Licensing failing and has anyone else reported this?

        Hi Dan:

        I spoke to development and we do not have any documented reports of this occurring with other partners who are utilizing the NT 7 vendor license management. However, we do want to document if this occurs again. Please send me an email directly if the problems persist along with the exact steps needed to reproduce. I will work with development and setup a test case scenario.
