As your scenario is extremely complicated with a ton of strategies all trying to do their own thing you will need to provide exact strategy IDs and timestamps along each step of the way so we can take a look at the logs. Thank you.

Where do I find this strategy id? I see mentioned in different places, but I can't figure out which instance in the strategies tab each one is.

Adam, Josh referred to just the strategy name / instrument / timeframe combination that gave you the issue, it would also help if you for example tested on a limited amount of strategy instances first to help simplify the setup and minimize potential interactions. As mentioned in my email the bug concerning the historical OCO id's that could have been non unique per strategy was found in B22 and fixed for B23.

I'm checking with IB API support into the 'Unable to cancel order...' error currently and will let you know what insight is hopefully contained.

OK, sounds positive but it would still be good to know how I find out what that long strategy id is, so I can cross check the log statements.

When you start a strategy the first line in the logs will be something like this:

The highlighted bold/red thing is the strategy ID.

Hi Josh,

thanks for the info.

That means I can note down the strategy id at the time when I enable the strategy, or afterwards if the strategy immediately submits orders, I'll see which instrument it's running on. It would be ideal though if the logging could contain those details about the strategy - instrument, time frame at least.
