    Unable to write cache data

I just loaded data for 27 ETF's from IB with min data back to 1/1/2010. Now I am trying to run an optimization for all 27. At 5 min intervals it NJ is giving me the Unable to write to cache data 4 times. When I say OK it continues for 5 more min. Using V7

    What should I look for?

GuyFB, is happening with Beta 16 and TWS 900.6?

Where is your MyDocuments > NinjaTrader 7 folder located?

Thanks - would any security software you run potentially block access to those folders? Is this happening with Beta 16 and TWS 900.6?

I would also help if you contact us via Help > Mail to Support with your trace / log files for review.

        Thanks

Running Kaspersky security but don't think that is the problem.

When I received the error I had been running for over a day and had run many small tests.

I rebooted the computer and reran with no error. This may be some memory or buffer problem. If it occurs again I will send trace.

Guy, I've seen this too a couple of times. Don't know for sure what it was but looking at the memory in the Task Manager, it was really low and the CPU wasn't doing much anymore, and I ended up killing it. I think the memory gets overloaded and messed up. I'm upgrading my 1.5Gigs of RAM to 3 Gigs to see if that helps.

              adamus,
I am running with 3M memory and XP. Looks like an upgrade to windows 7 64 bit and 12M may solve the issue but that is not solving the problem. It must be a buffer that is overflowing.

Guy, I've no idea. You're probably right, but who knows. It might be so mixed up that one thread is trying to write to the cache at the same time as another thread.
