    Autoscale not working

When loading data sometimes the chart does not correctly show up, but hangs, see example below (chart only uses default system indicators). If I expand the chart to fill the entire screen, it will be correctly displayed and stay that way.

This only happened with currency futures so far (4 positions after decimal point), I observed it for 6A and 6C.

I also observed some cases, where a chart was half filled. This points to rounding errors when performing AutoScale. Could also be linked to country settings.

    Hi Harry,

    Thank you for your post.

Would you be able to provide me with a workspace that I could use to replicate this behavior on my end?

This is the workspace, but it happened with other workspaces as well.

The workspace you attached only has CL instruments it seems Harry. Can you please attach one with the 6A or 6C chart looking like how it did in your screenshot? Thank you.

            Hi Harry,

I am not able to reproduce this on my side either.

Should this occur again in the future, please let me know if there are any additional steps that would need to be taken to cause this to occur on my end.

Happening many times per day now. The chart will stay that way until the next bar close. With the next bar close it will reshape itself.

This problem is related to the chart control. Might be country settings as well that cause the problem -> see also thread on copy and paste.

This is not linked to indicators or whatsoever on the chart. The only thing required to produce this is the 4 decimals after the point, so you can only observe this for FOREX and currency futures.

                Hi Harry,

Can you remind me which timezone you use?
As I recall, GMT + 1 - is that correct?

                  Correct. Timezone is GMT +1.

                    Hi Harry,

I have not yet been able to replicate this behavior, even when using a GMT + 1 timezone.

I will continue to test, but can you think of any other conditions that may need to be present for this to occur?

Do I need to take any steps within the software aside from loading the data?

My workspace usually has 3 or 4 charts, Country settings (German) might have an impact as there are other issues related to ChartControl that can not be found with US settings.

Otherwise I had this with pretty simple charts using only default indicators, see first chart below. The charts all had the (NinjaTrader) default pivots indicator, which overrides Plot().

This is not (!) a very urgent issue, as you can expand the chart to full screen size and then contract it again to its original size to solve the problem. And I do not change charts all the time. So if you cannot easily reproduce, put it on a lower priority, as it is a pretty harmless bug.

                        Hi Harry,

I will continue to try to reproduce this behavior on my end. If you come across any additional steps that would allow this issue to be reproduced more consistently, please let me know.

Gettings this every day, currencies only. Try German country settings.

                            Hi Harry,

I have been testing with GMT + 1 as well as German country settings on currencies using the workspace you provided earlier. Unfortunately, I have had no luck in reproducing this as of yet.

Now having this also with SP 500 and other instruments. Chart display "hangs". No idea what to do. Will try to reproduce with a simplified workspace.

Think it is related to German settings -> see problem with copy and paste not working.
