Cannot enable strategies on IB account

When I add a new strategy to the Control Center and set it to use my IB account, I cannot enable it.

NT can access the datafeed and collect ticks and account data and I can manually enter orders, but when I add a strategy, the 'Enabled' checkbox is grayed out and the right-click menu option 'Enable' has no effect.

I can set up strategies on the sim101 account OK.

I can't see anything relevant in the trace file or the logs.

Are you using a live account license for NT to allow for live trading? You should be if you can select the live account, but just checking. Have you tried SampleMACrossOver?

Yes I am. Paid the money for it and now I see 'live' at start-up etc. Plus I can enter trades manually.

Just realised after testing SimpleMACrossover.

I changed over from IB Simulated to IB Live and the account number changed - and I'd set the old account number as the default for the strategy properties and didn't think of changing it.... mea culpa.

Good ol' SimpleMACrossover - cures a multitude of sins.

Actually you know a pop-up dialog with a message could have saved me an hour of puzzling. Especially when it is actually possible to click on 'Enable'. Nothing happening can be quite frustrating.
