NT7 Replay Data

Hi there...

I recall at some time there was mention of NinjaTrader providing replay data for NT7. Is that still in the works or working?

I'd really like to have some replay data for the May 6th flash crash.

Yes, you may download Marktet Replay data by going File--->Utilities-->Download Replay Data.

Hi Christopher,

I tried to use the replay-data-download as described in your link. It doesn't matter if I have a connection
or not. I always get the following error with NT 7 Beta 16 .... in a popup error-dialog:

"You can't download relpay data while you have the market replay recorder turned on. Please turn it off."

Before I was connected to the replay recorder, but the same error occurs after a completely restart of NT7.

Hello DT,

Please go to Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and disable 'Record for market replay'. Subsequently connect to the Simulated Data Feed and you should be able to download Market Replay data.

Ok, now it works. But I don't understand why this option must be disabled to get the replay data ....

Unfortunately it has to be disabled in order to download Market Replay data - this is how it works.
