Sound File in Strategy not playing

Thanks for your reply. I created a sound file with the default Windows Sound Recorder and put this file in the sounds folder of Ninja. This always used to work in Ninja 6.5. In Ninja 7 it doesn't. As an end user I don't want to care about the file type or have to convert it or whatever. This all creates unnecessary complexity. Ninja 7 should be at least as good or better than 6.5 and in this case it isn't.

Now, to answer your question, the default sound file type in Windows 7 seems to be .wma. How can I convert this file type to make it work with Ninja7?

laocoon, thanks for the feedback - unfortunately for NT7 it needs to be a PCM type wave file, not a WMA one - converters such a Audacity or Winamp (believe the standard Windows Media Player, too) would handle the conversion easily.
