script editor difference in beta 16

I installed NT7 beta 16 64-bit on a new Windows 7 and in the script editor I have more options in the API code dropdown which appears when I hit 'base.'

See the attached screenshot, and wait for a second and I'll go to my other machine, also running beta 16 but only 32-bit and also it was upgraded from beta 15 and show you what it looks like - it's got far fewer choices available. I think it's lacking the properties and the public methods.

Any idea how I can get the full choice of API methods and properties on the second machine too?

Failing that, is this stuff documented somewhere?

    Thanks

        Hello,

I am unable to duplicate this on my side with windows 7 64 bit all seems correct. On the computer that is having issues are you able to compile all your indicator or do you get an error? Also did you install beta .16 on Friday? Or did you install it on Monday/Today?

I look forward to assisting you further.

          Brett,

what can't you duplicate? The dropdown that contains more API choices, or the one with fewer?

I assume you mean the one with fewer. I can compile on that machine. I installed b16 on it today.

            Hello,

Yes it was the one with fewer listed that I cant duplicate. Just so that were clear the one that is has the fewer entries is the one on Windows xp 32 bit or Windows 7 64 bit? Also was this install an upgrade from a previous beta version of a fresh install.

I look forward to assisting you further.

The one you can't duplicate with fewer list is the one on XP 32-bit which was upgraded from b15.

                Hello,

Can you please try removing your cache on the XP computer. I tested this on my side and it is not related to the differences in the operating system since my Windows XP and Windows 7 64 bit showed the same. Please delete all files in the following folder and see if this makes a difference.

                <my documents>/NinjaTrader7/cache

Let me know if this does the trick for you.

                  Brett,

I can't test it anymore. The symptom has disappeared. I see the same on both PCs now.

If it happens again, I'll let you know whether this works.

                  Thanks

                    Adamus,

                    Hmm, Thats strange.

Let me know if it comes back and if it does any steps you can remember that caused it to occur or anything that might be different.

                    Thank You.
