Daily chart is not updated correctly.

The daily chart of NT7 ir not grnrrated correctly, here is an image of today chart of E-Mini S&P 500. One Bad and One OK.

1.) What version of NinjaTrader are you using? (Help > About)
2.) Who is your data provider.

Hello Kyle.

I'm using NT7 with Zen-Fire in demo mode.

As you know, Zen-Fire no provides Daily data and is NT7 who generates it.

The problem is the following:

While is conected, the current bar on a Daily chart is generated correctly. At the following day, when start NT7, the chart is generates incorrect, as you have seen on the charts attached in my first post.

A couple of questions about NT 6.5:

- 2 days ago I updated NT6 to release 6.5.1000.15, this release can generates Daily charts from the history as NT7?

- How can I import Historical Data of ES from 2005?

Hi Frederico,

1.) Per the NT 7 charting issue:
When this next occurs, please right click in your chart and select 'Reload All Historical Data'. Please let me know if this does not have any effect on the chart display.

With NinjaTrader 6.5, Zen-Fire connections will provide historical tick and minute data only.


3.) "How can I import Historical Data of ES from 2005?"

This data would need to come from another source.

To import historical data from a text file in to NinjaTrader 7: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h.../importing.htm

Hi Kyle.

I have done Reload All Historical Data an have no effect.

What I do is disconnect zen-fire, connect barchart, reload all historical data, the chart is updated correctly, then I disconnect Barchart and connect Zen-Fire again. The chart working well until the next day I go back to start NT7 and the chart is not updated correctly again.

NT6.5

In conclusion, the last release of NT6 is not able to generate Daily data like Nt7, right?

Hi Federico,

1.) Please click Tools > Account Connections, select your Zen-Fire connection and click Change.
Next, navigate to the screen where you gave the connection a name - is historical data enabled here?

2.) Correct, daily data is not available for Zen-Fire users in version 6.5.

Please disable historical data for the Zen-Fire connection as I suspect that this provider is overwriting your existing data when reconnecting.
