New installation connection & strategy problems
I downloaded NT7 B16 onto a new Windows 7 64-bit machine with nothing else installed except Firefox.
It connects to Interactive Brokers TWS running on another machine.
I've set it up with my strategies but it's not running them. They appear active, but they don't submit orders properly.
The first thing that was suspicious is when I start NT - sometimes - not every time - it gives the error about the instrument as attached below.
It also disconnects when it tries to submit an order and then the order times out.
It then reconnects.
However it's not able to maintain the quote feed either. The quotes in the Market Analyzer just disappear sooner or later and go blank. The charts don't update. The quote panel in the Orders tab in the Control Panel just show 'n/a'.
It seems the 32-bit NinjaTrader doesn't do any better.
I have tried the obvious things - i.e. I disabled the Windows 7 firewall. I checked the version of Microsoft .NET (3.5.1 installed).
I attached the zipped log and trace from today.
