Ver 7 and Ver 6.5 at the same time?

I have an existing version 6.5 of NT and would like to know if I can install version 7 as well? I don't want to lose everything in 6.5 until I feel good about version 7. Can version 6.5 and 7 co-exist on the same computer and be used at the same time or only one version at a time?

It is possible to have both versions installed on the same PC.

Installing NinjaTrader 7 will leave your NinjaTrader 6.5 settings intact.

It is not, however, possible to run both versions at the same time.

I was talking to some traders who are in fact running both 6.5 and 7 simultaneously and they say it is fine. Does your comment here still hold?

Technically, this is possible if you make unsupported modifications to some files.
To be clear - we strongly recommend that you do not make these modifications and do not run both versions at the same time on the same PC.
