    Chart auto scale

It seems like the y-axis chart scaling on NT7 is different than NT6.5. As soon as I drag the y-axis up or down the property changes from automatic to fixed and the curent price can go above or below the visible portion of the chart. The only way to get price back on the chart is to drag the axis again or to set the axis properties to automatic again. Is this the way it is supposed to work? Doesn't NT6.5 current price still scale in the visible portion of the chart?

    Hello,

Yes this is new to NinjaTrader 7. Once you scale the chart in Fixed mode you can click the F in the top right hand corner of the chart to set it back to automatic scale.

Also if you hold down CTRL on your keyboard you will be able to drag the price axis up and down just like you did when you increased and decresed the scaling, this will move the chart up and down.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

      BobTN,

If you want to "scrunch" the bars vertically you can also adjust the y-axis' properties for Margin maximum/minimums. That will preserve the automatic scaling while allow you more vertical range to view.
