NTV7B15 verses NT6.5.15: Primary Series on the chart cannot be deleted.

Hello:

All in all, an excellent improvement over NT6.5. Several questions:

1. Once an instrument is loaded onto a chart: How does one change the primary instrument?
NT6.5: Can select another instrument from ANY instrument list through the Format Data Series window

NT7: Cannot do this. The primary instrument on a chart can only be replaced by those instruments that are in the "Default" instrument list.

2. Capability to plot all instruments in an instrument list at one time with each instrument displayed on a separate chart. A time saver.
NT6.5: No capability
NT7: No capability

Any ideas on question 1? How about adding the capability in question 2?

Thank you for your forum post.

As for your 1st questions the changing of the primary instrument is done by typing the instrument symbol while the chart is selected and hitting enter or adding the instrument to your default list so that it shows up in the default list. You could also create a Market Analyzer and link it to the chart and switch instrument in the chart by selecting instruments in the market analyzer.

As per your seconds question I will submit this into development. Thank you for your suggestion.
