Horizontal Grid Lines - want them on panel 1 only

I went to chart properties and selected horizontal grid lines. I then clicked in the vertical price column to set the interval. No problem so far.

To my surprise, I'm getting these horizontal grid lines showing up in my panel 2 and 3 (my subgraph indicator panels). Does that sound right?

How can I get them to show up in panel 1 only?

This should not happen. Can you please try on a new chart? What indicators are you using in your other panels?

I just opened a new chart with and put in CL 06-10. I added horizontal grid lines in the chart properties section and then I specified the interval in the price vertical column right click..

It seems weird that the horizontal grid interval selection box is separate now from the horizontal grid on or off selection in chart properties but I'm sure there is a reason for that.

Notice the randon horizontal horizontal yellow lines in the 3 indicator panels that I just inserted a minute ago.

edit...what is weird is that those horizontal lines disappear and reappear as I pull the vertical right scale up and down.

These would be expected grid lines not new ones from your settings. They are just more prominent now that you are using a high contrast color. The reason you can adjust the horizontal grid line properties on the y-axis is because you can control them for each panel individually. I suggest you try right clicking in the other y-axis areas for the other panels and adjusting the horizontal grid lines from there.
