How to prevent bar-width from changing when zooming

I noticed that the width of the bar drawn on a chart changes when you zoom-in or out. In the attached picture, the width of the bar in the lower panel jumped up to 14 from 1 (or 2) as I zoomed in. How do I prevent that from happening?

Unfortunately there is no way to turn off the auto increase in bar width. As you zoom in and out it will auto change the bar width accordingly.

As an enhancement, could you limit the size of the increase in bar-width to a multiple of the original bar-width (say 3x) or a hard limit (say 5) or some ratio of (canvasWidth/barsPainted). It becomes very clunky right now!
