Column widths in any NT table

I find the column width adjustment is really difficult because I can't set the column width of the column I'm adjusting to exactly what I want. Moving the column seperator with the mouse causes all columns on the table to readjust slightly, and the actual column I was adjusting jumps to a different width.

Maybe I'm trying to put too many columns on my screen but this adjustment behaviour is virtually impossible to deal with.

Is it deliberate or can I configure it somehow?

I'm talking about the Strategy Analyzer and the Control Centre tabs.

Which version of NinjaTrader 7 are you using? (Help > About)

On my end, all other columns do not readjust after modifying another column.

I'm using NT7 beta 15.

I'm in the Executions tab, resizing the columns now and I see this behaviour.

Also in the Strategy Analyzer, on the Summary tab. In fact there are only 4 columns on this tab and the data has plenty of width to display well, so I see no reason why it should do this.

Just to clarify, I grab the column seperator with the mouse and move it to the left about 2 cms. Then I let go. The column seperator immediately jumps 1/4 of the way back to the right.

Unfortunately, it seems that this can be expected currently. With that said, my development team is currently investigating.

Just for your information, in Interactive Brokers' Trader WorkStation, there is an option in the settings configuration which is normally checked, called "Fit columns to window".

If I uncheck this option, then I can resize the columns individually, leaving space on the right hand side when desired.
