YM is the only symbol visible in Instrument Manager

Hi,

I downloaded NT7 yesterday and I am unable to see any symbols other than the YM in the instrument manager. I'm connecting to the Zen-Fire data feed. Is there a setting that I need to enable in order to see all Futures symbols?

Hello oneunderthru9,

You should be able to see multiple instruments in the Instrument Manager. Could it be you have YM entered in the Name field? If you hit Search, you will only display the YM. Please remove YM and leave the Name field empty. Subsequently hit Search and you should see all instruments as per the instrument type that is selected.

PS When connected to Zen-Fire, you can only select a Futures type, since Zen-Fire only supports futures data.

Do you perhaps you have NinjaTrader installed on a network drive?

Can you please reset your instruments and check again. Please go to Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Reset Instruments. Subsequently check if you see them listed in the Instrument Manager.

If the issue remains, please post your latest log and trace files. You can find these files at the following locations:

Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.20100511 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.20100511 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)
