ZenFire-Esignal not connecting

    ZenFire-Esignal not connecting

    Ltey my Zenfire and/or esignal has not been connecting. In the bottom left corner of the Control Panel it says "connecting to eSignal/ZenFire" but it never connects. I have tried different internet connections, PC clock is in sync and then I re-installed NT 7 15 but I am still not able to connect to the data. This is at anytime of the day.

    Hello Ryan,

    Can you please check for software, such as (corporate) firewalls, spyware and anti-virus software, that could be blocking the connection.

    Were there any changes on your PC since you experience the connection issues. Did you install any new software?

    In some the cases the router is the cause (built in firewall). Please connect your PC directly to your modem and check if this will make a difference.

    In addition, please go to Tools-->Account Connections, highlight your connection and click Change. Make sure all connection information is entered as provided by your broker/data feed provider.

      I should mention that the issue is on NT 7 - 15 and not on NT 6.5: So I do not think that has to do with firewalls, spyware etc....
      I tried removing the config file and creating a brand new connection BUT it is still not connecting

        Could it be you run NinjaTrader 7 in 64 bit mode? If so, please click the NinjaTrader 32 bit icon to start NinjaTrader. Unfortunately Zen-Fire and eSignal are not supported in 64 bit as per the link below.
        Contains critical information including but not limited to migration, installation, connections and changes.


        If the issue remains, please forward your connection information to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com, so I can test the connections on my end.

        Please put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header and reference this forum thread.
