    IQfeed

    Hi, I am testing IQFeed.
I logged out for half an hour 4:50pm
and logged back in at 5:20 pm, and I got the attached
chart. Data that were previously there in the Historical Manager
(before 4:50), were overriden with the dashed values?

Although I clicked on Download Historical for the Day (5/5-5/6)
nothing happens. You have to go to each chart and press CTRL+SHIFT+R
to bring the correct values in. IQFeed claims that there are no bad data on their server.

Any clue what happens when you logout/login before/after 5pm?

    Thanks

    Hi trend,

    Thank you for your post.

I will need to test this out on my end.

1.) Which version of NT 7 are you using? (Help > About)

2.) Which version of the IQ feed client software are you using?

3.) Which timezone is your PC set to use?

      Hi Kyle,
      I'm on NT7-15 and IQF: 4.0.9
TimeZone GMT -5 with DST enabled.

If you restart during the day looks OK. If you go over the 5pm time
then good data (OHLC) from 2pm to 5pm for the 6th and th 5th (2 days) are being overriden with a single price. Even when you do download from the Historical Manager the correct data don't come back. You have to go to each chart and Reload,

        trend,

Please provide us with exact steps to clarify. Are you saying you disconnect and then just reconnect without touching anything else? Or are you closing NT and restarting? Are you closing the chart and opening a new one? Is the chart open while you were connected? Is the same chart still open as you are disconnected? Does the issue occur as you reconnect on the same chart or on a new chart? Thank you.

Hi Josh, I have a single chart with no indicator on, along with a Market
Analyzer screen on a list of 15 currency pairs with a simple Spread Indicator applied on a 1' interval. The machine goes to a Restart mode,
NT is scheduled to come up automatically (with the MA and the chart)
and when it comes back the gap in the chart fills in automatically. No problem.

If the 5pm time is included in the downtime interval the chart fills
in a single price for the 2pm-5pm for both days. I Reload and change
the same chart to another pair and notice the same phenomenon.

So I have to Reload all 15 pairs one at a time.

Again the Historical Manager fails to download the data in the List
          at a single shot.

I have IQFeed to AutoConnect on StartUp

I designed session FOREX applied to all currency pairs as
              GMT - 5

              Sunday - Monday 5pm - 5pm
              Monday - Tuesday 5pm - 5pm
              ....
              Thursday - Friday 5pm - 5pm

                Josh,
the machine shut down, stayed down for some time,
                on restarting iqfeed autoconnected,

Although I have a chart up and the data look OK.
When I look on the Historical Data Manager I see a single price
replicating across all minutes from about 1:30 pm till now.

I Reload , cleared cache from db, Reload again, to no avail.

Any clue what do I do to write the correct data into the DB

                Thanks

                  Hello trend,

I am not able to reproduce your results on my end as of yet. I will need to further test using your workspace.

Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with 'ATTN: Kyle' in the subject line.

In the message, please include the following:
1.) A link to this forum thread.

2.) The workspace you are seeing this behavior in.
You will find the workspace in the My Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Workspaces folder.
