    BUG when reload historical data

When i reload historical data it causes the current volume for that bar to greatly exceed all other bars, and i can no longer see the past bars volume data. Then it starts from there and each bar starts printing for the volume again. if i scroll back i can see the other volume data.

i am using NT7 with MB trading data

am i doing something wrong, or is it a bug

    thanks

What instrument are you using? What type of chart? Minute? Tick? Thanks.

At what point in time do you do the reload historical data? During market hours? After market hours? What about the chart's session template being used?

I have tested this on my end and did not receive the large Volume bar as seen in the attached screen shot. Are you using a different indicator for Volume?

Can you tell me what version of NinjaTrader 7 you have installed which can be found under Help-->About.

Also can you confirm you have MBT Navigator version 11.5.0.5 installed at this time.

                jaybird151,

Unfortunately we are unable to reproduce. Can you please provide us exact listed steps going from beginning to end of exactly how you do it?

                1. Connect MBT
                2. Open chart of ___ instrument for 1min and using ____ session template
                3. etc.

That way we can try exactly what you are doing. Thank you.

                  2. open chart of eur/usd 1min using < forex> session template

                  and it does it

what is the correct session template to use?

when i put it on a daily chart it is not showing the current days bar. if i switch to any other time frame it is showing all the price action, just not on the daily --- fine on the weekly just no daily

Unfortunately this will be expected behavior when charting Forex instruments and the information being displayed is the data provided through MB Trading's API.

Keep in mind volume is not the actual total market volume when trading Forex. This is because Forex is not a centralized market and do not report volume from one specific Exchange like the volume you would see for Futures or Equities.

yes i understand the volume is tick volume and not volume volume

does what you said above have to do with the current daily bar not displaying

i cant figure out what is going on with that
