You can , of course, enter the ticker into the Instrument Manger by renaming the ticker and dropping the space and then using the renamed instrument but this is a hassle and still leaves users susceptible to a crash if they manually enter tickers in the Market Analyzer that have a space or some other forbidden character.

Charting Bug
You are only allowed to enter letters, digits, and the underscore in the Master Instrument Field within the Instrument Manger. The problem, BRK B is a valid ticker symbol using the IB data feed and can be entered into the Market Analyzer and will work just fine; however, if you use the "Send to --> Chart" menu command it will crash NT7.

I just repeated the crash:
1) Connect to the IB feed
2) Select the open row in the Market Analyzer
3) Choose Add Instrument from the right-click menu
4) Choose Type: Stock, Name:BRK B, Exchange: Default
5) BRK B appears in the the row and works fine.
6) Choose "Send to --> Chart" and kapow a warning window comes up stating that NT7 has to shut down.
When NT7 comes back up the chart is frozen with "loading data" in the top left corner and BRK B is gone from the Market Analyzer row. I do believe the Market Analyzer is allowing characters (a space in this case) in the Master Instrument field that is causing NT7 to crash.

In the Instrument Manager the ticker is listed as follows:
Name: BRK B, Type: Stock, Description: (none), Tick Size: 0.01, Point Value 1
In the Instrument Edit window:
Master Instrument: BRK B
Exchanges: Arca, Default, Ise, Island, Nyse
Once you hit "Edit" you are stuck in the Instrument Edit window. If you select "OK" a warning box comes up "The 'Master Instrument' field only can hold letters and digits and underscore." Here's the the problem: the Market Analyzer is allowing the entry of forbidden characters in the Instrument Manager.
