Snap Shot Data What is it?

Connection setup has an option "Use snapshot data for real-time level 1 data."
1. What is "snapshot data"?
2. Where is "real-time level 1 data" used in NT.
I did not see any reference of this subject in help section.

Hello Camdo,

The 'Use snapshot data ...' option generates bid/ask events from the MBT API "quote data" events. Please see the thread below (post #8).

In general, snapshot data means data is received once per certain time period. For example, once every second instead of receiving unfiltered tick data. I am not sure what time period is used by MBTrading.

All windows that receive real-time data will use 'real-time level 1 data'.
