RSS feed

Dear NT staff,
The RSS feed now on NT 7 has only daily FX even on option tab all feeds (like google, yahoo) are selected and no filter is applied.
Any idea?

Hello,

To recieve data on these feeds you will need to add the instrument to the RSS list in the Instrument Manager. Please see the following help guide page:

I added instrument to RSS list. The news window did pop up.

The issue is the news is only from daily FX even all other news venues are selected. No fliter applied so i assume Yahoo news, etc will also show up in addtional to daily FX but I see only daily FX updates.

Hello,

Can you please try adding a stock to the RSS list and see if you recieve news on this. I will double check with development but the Yahoo and Google connection only supports equities. I would expect this to be the same with the RSS data.

Added X and both Yahoo and Google updates on X showed up. Thanks.

Confirmed from development that RSS supports equities only and any other generic news items.
