market replay forex futures

I'm looking to get market replay data for the current euro futures contract(ECM10)

I am curious if this is available on the ninjatrader server.

If so, does it supply tick data?

If not, I currently have access to tradestation data. Is there any way to import data from that? I remember there was previously only minute data possible to import, has that changed for NT7?

Also, if there is no solution by using tradestation, what service could be recommended to get this data?

Unfortunately not. You can bring data in from TradeStation, but this would not be replay data, this would only be historical chart data. In terms of bringing in this data it would work the same as how it does in 6.5 so nothing has changed in that regard.

Ah, i figured as much.

But about the current euro future(ECM10) market replay data, is it available from the ninjatrade servers? I remember reading something about it being available for NT7, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to work.

If not, could you suggest any way for me to get that specific data?

I have a couple more questions about the market replay.

1) How far back is the market replay data available?

2) I noticed that I was only able to get from 7:20AM to mid afternoon. Is there market replay data available from after peak hours trading?

3) Is there a way to get data .nt2/.ntm data files that were saved and put them into nt7?

Any help would be much appreciated.

1. Unfortunately we do not have any static value we can provide for this. It is a courtesy service and you can try downloading various days back for various contracts.

2. When you select a date and download you will get whatever data is available for that date at the time of your request. Depending on your timezone it may be advisable to download several dates to get a continuous flow of several dates for replay to cover the sessions.

3. The files are located in Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\data.
