Can I tell if I am in a a trade?

Has it been changed on 7.0 so that I will know if I am in an open position if the order was not submitted via a strategy?

Scenario: I have an indicator that can tell me when I might want to exit but I only want it to signal if I am in a trade and know if it is short or long. Basically I want to know the same info as the positions tab on the Control Panel.

I know you could not do this on 6.5 or prior but didn't know if that had been changed on 7.0. Happy to read the database or log file jsut didn't know if I could get there.

I understand what you have provided me but I don't see how I can squeeze out that I am in a trade?

Unfortunately accessing this info is not supported ct.

This feature is very important for semi-automatic trading. Many traders open positions by mouseclick and the computer takes care of the stop-logic and Target-Limits. This feature I miss very much. NT should support this mode.

If a strategy starts up, it must know the current account positions. Everything else is not the usual practice.
