I left NT7 open since Friday's end of session trading for 6E - 06-10. Today (Sunday) at 6:00 P.M. EST when trading resumed for this instrument, the open 6E charts were not updating. At first I thought that this is due to the "Session Template" entry being set to 24/5. However after I changed it to 24/7 the charts were still not updating. Finally changing the "End Date" from 04/30/2010 to 05/02/2010 solved the problem. Unfortunately as a result, the tick charts were reset.
This episode brings up a question and that is: If NT7 is left open overnight or over the weekend, how can this issue be resolved? Is the only solution to change the "End Date" manually to the current date?
