Assign template in Strategy

How can you code which Session Template you want and not to exit on close of a session within the strategy so you do not have to set it in the strategy manager each time you test?

Unfortunately you can't set a template programmatically, it will be using the one you select on starting it up from the chart or strategies tab.

You can hardcode ExitOnClose = false to your strategie's Initialize() method for it to trade across session breaks per default.

And is it possible to set a session template as default? In NT7 it should be possible to set defaults via right click in the strategy properties tab?

Correct, you could set a default via right clicking in the strategy properties.
