    Time and sales price precision

How do I configure time and sales price to show 4 decimal places if the trade price has 4 decimal places? for eg, 5.5501 instead of 5.55

Also when changing a symbol in timesales window, how to populate with historical time sales data instead of just getting new timesales data from that point onwards?

      Hello,

Thank you for your forum post.

This is setup in the instrument manager and you need to change the tick size of the instrument. Go to the Control Center->Tools->Instrument Manager->Find the instrument->Edit->Change the Tick size for the instrument you need to change to .0001->Save.

The Time and Sales window only works on a live data feed and does not work off historical data.

How do I bulk update all symbols to 0.0001?
And by the way, are there any symbol lists for AMEX, NYSE, NASDAQ for all the traded symbols that I can use to bulk import into NT7?

Also can I configure the timesales window properties and save it as a style to reapply to other timesales windows?

How do I remove the standard panel (ask/bid/volume) on top of timesales?

How do I adjust the column widths of timesales window?

There is no bulk update tick size ability and I do not know of any lists to be downloaded from us. You can use the Import Stock Symbol List feature to import essentially any comma separated stock list. However with penny stocks the tick size would also need to changed.

I will submit this to development for possible inclusion in a future version of NinjaTrader.

            shift time period

Why does T&S window only show data from the time it's opened. How can I retrieve past data?

Also it's a tedious task to scroll T&S back in time to see data from, say, 2 or 3 hours ago--lets alone a few days ago. Can you provide us with the field box (see attached image) where we may enter the range of dates and time (eg. 04/22/2010_11:00 AM ~ 04/22/2010_11:30AM) ???

This is what T&S is and it will give you the current time and sales, Time and Sales is usually used as a way to get a realtime view of how fast the market is trading and with how many contracts. If your trying to look at historical bid and ask data would a bid and ask chart work instead? As far as the T&S window having historical I will submit your recommendation to development for possible inclusion in a future version of NinjaTrader.
