Hi

I'm looking to add a 5 Min MACD indicator on a 1 Min chart, is there an easy way to do that?
(sorry if this has been asked before but I didn't find it on the forum)

I think you have to first add the 5-minute data series to the chart, then you can add the MACD indicator and select the 5-minute data series as the input.

Thanks for your reply. That's what I figured out too, but it's definitely a suboptimal solution because it uses way too much screen real estate. There has to be another way.

Thank you both for your posts.

kdoren is correct in that you will have to add the 5 minute data series to the chart as well.

From there, you can set the bar color (up bars, down bars and wicks) to 'Transparent' to hide the plotting of this series. Once the 5 minute series which is now transparent is set to plot on panel 1, the 5 minute series will be invisible.
