Why can't strategy properties be edited while enabled?

I'm not sure I follow why I can't change strategy properties while a property is enabled.

If I disable it, I can change my properties, and then enable the strategy again.

Is this by design, and if so, what's the logic/reasoning behind it?

I spent a lot of time on this and I came up with my own proprietary solution.

Changing the parameter itself is for sure allowed while the strategy is running.

This parameter value is however shown in several places (strategy-parameters column, chart-strategy-header) and those places must reflect the changed parameter as well if you follow the rule : What you see is what you get.

The reason for having the Enable/Disable button is because of requirements needed for the new strategy persistence features. Strategies do not necessarily create new instances every single time you press Apply.
