    Chart objects disappear

    Hi!
    I just moved from version 6.5 to version 7.0.0.14. Congratulations, good job! There are a lot of nice enhancements and it’s faster as well.

    The only thing I didn’t like: I had to re-create all charts, indicators and drawings. I took me a half day to re-create the charts and indicators and an other half day to reapply all the chart drawings.

    Today I started NT and 95% of my chart objects have disappeared! Is this a known bug or is there something I may have done wrong?

    Thank you for the good notes on NinjaTrader 7 we appreciate it.

    Im sorry to hear your charts did not reappear. I am unaware of any bugs at this time with saving with workspace with NinjaTrader 7. It may be possible that you did not save the workspace? Can you please test this, can you please create a chart and then goto File->Workspaces->Save Workspace. Then shutdown NinjaTrader and restart NinjaTrader to double check and make sure the chart comes back when you open NinjaTrader.

      Very strange. I draw an other line, saved the workspace, re-started NT and - all the lost chart objects I created yesterday showed up as well as the new created line. Whats going on here?

      Maybe this is related: After I restart my OS, the first time I start NT it always hangs, I have to kill it wia the task manager and start it a second time. I had this problem already with version 6.5.

        Yes this could be related. We would be interested in taking a look at your trace and log files. Can you please send me your trace files for today so that I may further assist.

        You can find these files at the following locations, please attach these to an email to support at ninjatrader dot com ATTN: Brett and reference this forum post.

        Also, please let me know what antivirus program you are using.

        Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.20100423 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)

        Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.20100423 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)
