NT not shutting down cleanly

Hi,

I'm using NT 7 with IQFeed and MBTrading.

Since the recent MB Trading bug fix, the software has become 100x more stable.

But, one problem i'm continuing to have is that most times NinjaTrader will not shutdown cleanly when I attempt to exit. It hangs for a while and then eventually the process dies or is killed (and i get an error message stating that fact).


This would not be a big deal, since i was already exiting.

BUT, here is the problem. When i restart the software, all of my workspaces do not open. It opens with only the default workspace open.


Since I usually work with about 10 workspaces open, this means every time i restart I have to manually go open each and every workspace.


Is this a problem you are aware of or is there anything I can do to remediate?

Brandon, currently not aware of a related issue - this is on latest beta 14 and MBT Nav 11.5.0.5 correct? Are you seeing any errors or log messages on this? Do you disconnect first before attempting to exit NT? Is this the only connection you use or are you connected to multiple sources with NT7?

Im on beta 14 with the latest version of MB Trading.

I am always connected to MBTrading and IQFeed.


I do not disconnect before exiting, and i do not see any error messages. The process just hangs and then crashes eventually.


I'll send you the workspaces!

bridenour, ok will check into - thanks. To clarify, is this MBT's latest version or our recommended Nav release to use 11.5.0.5? Also - is the issue the same if you disconnect from IQ and MBT before shutting down for the day?
