Instrument Manager and continuous contract data

    Hi!

one question please, is it possible to display two charts with the same instrument but one with the mergebackadjusted data and the other one with donotmerge data?

I've seen this feature is at master instrument level, but perhaps is there any tip...

    Thanks

If I want to look at ES backadjusted and not backadusted, I would try to add a new instrument ES2, enter the same instrument settings including Broker symbol as for ES, and then select a different merge policy for ES2. I think this should work, and you would for example get ES as backadjusted and ES2 as not backadjusted. I did not try this however.

To clarify, you can have two charts one with merge and one without. The process is to first open a chart with a certain setting, then change your settings (you could just change the global settings in Tools>Options>Data) and then open your second chart. You will end up with two charts, one with merge and one without. Now if you decide to reload your chart or change it instruments and such you will be left with a chart of your last chosen setting though.
