    NT 7 and FIn-Alg TPO Charts

    I continue to have problems on NT7 Beta (Now14) when using TPO Charts. I can build charts fine but when I close and reopen either my computer locks up or the NT platform locks up. Workspaces not containing a TPO Chart reopen fine. The developer says no other problems reported to him. So is anyone else having problems? Please do not recommend fresh install etc. I have done all that several times. Also no problems with NT 6.5 on same computers.

    Thank you for your post.

    Yes, if the assemblies were not created with .NET Protector v3.1 you may experience issues.

    Has the vendor that has provided you a compiled assembly to install? If that is the case please verify with the vendor the assemblies were created with .NET Protector v3.1 as that is required within NinjaTrader 7.

      TPOChart for NT7

      TPOChart is not protected by .NET Protector so this is not relevant

        Chris, yes I have the NT7 latest TPO Chart assemblies. Are you saying that the Remote Soft Software may only cause problems on reopening a chart?

        I forwarded your reply to Fin-Alg the developer as he has avoided answering my direct question about this issue.

              Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris" in the subject line.

              In the message, please include the following:
              1.) A link to this forum thread.
              2.) Your most current trace and log files.

              You will find the file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

              Log file will be located by going to Documents->NinjaTrader 7->Log->log.YYYYMMDD.txt

                Hi, I reported the same issue recently.

                I confirm jackh findings: i can build a TPOChart nicely. If I however shutdown and restart the session based on the workspace containing the TPOChart it can result in a freeze of this workspace.

                        No unfortunatly not for me: the 1.4.2 version still leads to the freezing when restarting the session. I tried load the TPOChart template in a new WorkSpace but this also makes the workspace non-responsive, sometimes this procedure helps to get it active again.

                              Please attempt the same procedures on the next release of NinjaTrader 7 and let me know if the issue persists.
