    Strategy Reconnection Issue

    Hi,

    I have Ninja Strategies running on 2 different accounts in a Ninja Trader 7 Beta14

    A first set is connected live to a first live IB account

    A second set of "test" strategies is connected to a second IB paper account.

    I have both connections opened in Ninja Trader 7 and each set of strategies running on the relevant account.

    I experienced several internet short disconnections today. Several error messages from Ninja (message boxes) appeared, saying that Strategies will reconnect (a message for for each strategy launched on real account and on paper account). However, Ninja has relaunched the strategies ONLY on one account . (I doubled checked, the second account was connected while ninja was reconnecting the first set of strategies to the first account). I had to relaunch the set of strategies manually for the second account.

    This has occured several time, so I guess it can be reproduced.

    The Strategy "Script handling on connection loss" parameter is set to recalculate.

    You can find these files at the following locations, please attach these to a return email:
    Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.20100420 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)

    Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.20100420 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

      Also, when you say they didn't restart do you mean that in the Strategies tab of the Control Center they were showing up with a white cell instead of a Green or Yellow cell? The strategy was showing up as Disabled or simply not trading but Enabled? Thank you for the clarification.

        Hi Josh,

        For the second account, the strategies were showing up but were not enabled (there was no longer a green check mark on the "Enabled" check boxes). I had to re enable them manually. This has occured several times, so I guess this can be reproduced. If you need a second IB account, I can give you access to my paper account for a short period.
