B14 Restore Error Message

Just a minor note....I created a backup of the Control Center (which included new custom Hot Keys and Custom Sessions) after a clean install of B14 on one machine.

Then used that backup file to restore the Control Center on another machine after a clean install of B14 there. I then got the error message shown in the screen shot below. The restore actually appears to have worked OK...should that error message be appearing...?? I do not have 6.5 on either machine.

Thank you for your note.

You mentioned that the backup appears to have restored, despite this error message.

1.) Are the workspaces available on this PC after restoring?

2.) Does the error message you included continue to display, or did this only pop up during the restore process?

I only backed up the Control Center for restore purposes to save Hot Keys & Sessions...no workspaces or other windows were included in that backup.

The message only showed once as you completed the restore process.
Out of curiosity, I actually installed NT again on the 2nd machine, and got the same message again the next time I restored that new install.

Other windows (Basic Entry & Dom) came up OK upon request after the restore on the 2nd machine.

Not sure that I follow.

Which components were included in the backup? (control center is not an available option)

After I did a clean install of B14 on machine #1...then created custom hot keys and custom sessions in the control center...& revised stuff in the instrument manager...then without adding anything else (DOM, workspaces etc) did a backup of just the control center...to have a clean backup mainly for hot keys & custom sessions...

This is what I used to do a restore on the newly installed B14 control center window only on machine #2...worked great...
