    NT7 chart problem at 00:00

    Hello,

I'm using MBT connection with demo account.

I do have charting problem in 00:00 bar all the time. At 00:00 bar price always goes down to 0 and comes back with the next bar.

I wonder is this NT7 problem or broker issues?

    Thank you very much!

    Telepathy

    Hi , pnorbutas

I begin to believe in telepathy. See my post 18 minutes after yours.

Please let us know if what was your Beta version and what was an instrument.

If you encountered the problem an Beta 14 we'll be elliglble to pull NT support people legs.

      Hello, xTrader1

I see we have the same problem.

I was using beta 13 and and MBT nav 11.5.0.5 on EUR/USD only for now.

Today I updated NT to beta 14 to see if that will solve the problem. It does not filter these bad ticks what is already in a history, but I wonder if beta 14 will do better filtering in real-time.

pnorbutas, you can filter bad ticks. In addition, you could contact MBT and ask them to implement a server-side filtering algorithm so you don't even receive the bad ticks in the first place.

OK, I did not want to go to details here,

because the problem was related to beta 13, but I am collecting MB trading data in parallel, on my second machine, by another application. MB trading data is clean and valid during the bad tick times and I can send you snapshots of data proving it.

The only exception is when MBT stops a broadcast, everyday 2-3 minutes before 5 PM EST Time and resumes it 2-3 minutes after 5PM. Then sometimes happens, the last tick before suspension and the first tick after resuming have value 0. But these values WERE FILTERED in previous NT7 versions.

I wrote an indicator printing times of out of range values and there are 0.000 ticks during normal MBT broadcast hours, again when the data acquired directly from MBT by my another application is valid.

Therefore the problem is either in NT Beta 13 or in its interface to MBT.

Reading release notes for Beta 14, you didn't treat this problem, therefore it can be expected in Beta 14 either.

            xTrader1,

Seems like you are working with Dierk in one of your follow through threads here: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...789#post159789

            pnorbutas,

Perhaps the info there will be useful for your situation as well. As such, I will close this ticket for now to avoid duplicating efforts and confusion.
