Can you please allow the snap-to option to be configurable so that it only applies to specific draw types?

In NT 7 even a Text Box is snapping to now....that is not good!

How many people want the lines to snap-to, but the other objects to not?

Here is my request:

• A dialog box that configures Snap-Mode options to allow each draw objects to snap-to or not, able to save it to default
• A hot key that toggles Snap Mode on and off, when on uses the last Snap-to settings or the default

I completely agree with Turtle Trader with regard to snapping of drawing objects. A global setting isn't worth having - especially price and bar together. Each drawing object should have independent snap options.

Thanks for the comments. You can associated Hot Keys to snap options in the Hot Key Manager, this does not resolve what you are asking for but does provide a workaround.
