I have a hard time finding the NT7 help guide. I thought I remember seeing one that is more complete than the one attached to release notes.

There is only one version of the NinjaTrader 7 Help Guide currently.

In the software you can access the Help Guide by clicking F1.

Undocumented functions in Ninja Help?

Hi,

I have noticed that often the Intellisense feature pops up lots of functions/parameters that are not in the help. Like the Bars.Session. function shows 19 options, but only 4 are documented in the help. Is there a document that shows all options and what they do?

I am particularly interested in the timezone functions, because I found that NT6.5 always assumes the session starts and ends at midnight local time for the exit on close function, which it doesn't for US and European markets (I'm in Australia) . I ended up having to code around it (and disabling the exit on close). Quite by accident I discovered the Bars.Session.GetNextBeginEndTime function, which will definitely help, or maybe in NT7 the correct session begin and end times are used for the exit on close function. Haven't tried it yet but it's next on the list.

There are many methods and properties that are not documented as they are not officially supported. You can still use them, but at your own risk for those methods and properties are subject to changes in behavior without warning. Internal method/properties might show up too.
