B14 Data Problem...

    Unfortunately this is the only data avialable at this time from the NinjaTrader servers.

      As Chris has stated, unfortunately the data server did not record some data on 4/25 and you will see such gaps.

        I'm not getting any data for Sunday 4/25/10 for ES 06-10 ... I tried reloading from server etc.. and using a 24hr session. I get data for previous Sunday's without an issue.

        So is this data just not available? And if not, when will you update the server to make it available?? If it's not on your servers shouldn't it be pulling directly from ZenFire?

          Can you please confirm you have your Session template set to Defalt 24/7. If the data was not recorded to our servers unfortunately this will not be updated at a later date.

            Yes, I am using 24/7 session template.

            Doesn't Zenfire provide at least a couple days back of data? I remember this being the case in 6.5 before you added ability to pull historical from your servers. ????

            I find it unacceptable that you will not update your servers when you know you have missing data. Can't get this data from Zenfire or someplace??? For people that rely on trendlines, to just name one thing, this missing data makes it very difficult to use Ninja.

            Can you provide a little more information as to what is really going on here???

              Yes, historical data is available in most cases for 1 year. Unfortunately Zen-Fire does not record this data therefore there is not a way for us to apply it to our servers.

              Zen-Fire does not provide historical data however as a courtesy NinjaTrader records data to our servers for customers to access. Occassionally we do experience server issues and unfortunately data is not recorded.

              Please attach a screen shot of your current chart with the missing data so I may attempt to replicate on my end.

              To save a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image and save as a jpeg file.

                OK.. thanks for the explanation re: recording of server data...

                It would be awful nice if you guys had a recovery plan for when your servers do experience recording problems. Perhaps a method for you to upload data from a backup provider that you have an arrangement with such as BarCharts or IQFeed etc.

                Here is the screen shot you wanted....

                EDIT: sorry, on screen shot it should say 4/25 is missing not 4/24
