B14 Data Problem...

    B14 Data Problem...

    Had a small gap in one chart appear...tried reset & repair DB...reloaded historical...still a gap only now 2 gaps all charts....tried reload historical again but reload historical now grayed out...

    Deleted all NQ & TF data in NT My Documents...restarted NT...still data gaps....reload historical works now, but does not help.

    Hi Alfred,

    Thank you for your post.

    This may be due to the Session template you have applied. Please right mouse click within your chart-->Data Series-->Session template-->Select Default 24/5 or Default 24/7-->Click Ok.

    Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

      B14...

      Shut down NT again...went to My Doc's & deleted all NT data....restarted...gaps still in charts...reload historical works now...but still have gaps identical to screenshot in first post on this below...

      If a new workspace & a new chart...same gap problem....switching NQ to 6E....stuck loading data for 6E....

      Did not have a problem like this in B13, B12 etc...

      I will do a clean install of NTB14 this weekend & see how next week goes...

        Hi...I do use custom session templates all charts....tried switching to 24/5...chart now hung up loading data...my session templates have all worked very well so far before this...

        Think I will go for the clean reinstall & see how that goes...

          Can you please tell me what data provider you are connected to within NinjaTrader so I may further assist.

            Hi...am using Mirus Zen-Fire...

            Just did a total clean install and charts still messed up...screen shot below...24/5 data...

            Reload historical, repair & reset no help...did new workspaces ...everything new...

            Any suggestions ??

              Please use the steps I have provided below to delete your historical data:
              • Disconnect
              • Tools
              • Historical Data Manager
              • Edit tab
              • Select ES-->Right mouse click-->Delete
              • Close NinjaTrader
              • Documents
              • NinjaTrader 7
              • Open the db folder
              • Open the cache folder
              • Select all files-->Right mouse click-->Delete
              • Open NinjaTrader
              • Connect
              • Open a new chart

              Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

                Hi again...

                Tried your instructions below...I had already eliminated the ES from the Instrument Manager immediately upon installation of B14.

                Deleted all data files in cache....connected & made a new chart (screen shot below)...still the same gaps as before....suggestions ...??

                  Unfortunately that is simply the data stored on the data server as there was a gap of several minutes in recording.

                      B14 data gap today...

                      Am getting a data gap this morning...all charts....Zen F Mirus...had deleted all data last night in My Docs>NT>db...so data was clean this morning...tried reload, restore & repair...

                        I have tested this on my end when connected to Zen-Fire and see the first bar populated at 00:48:06 EST on the 25th as seen in the attached screen shot. Please right mouse click within your chart-->Data Series-->Session template-->Set to Default 24/7-->Click Ok.

                        Please let me know if your chart matches mine after this procedure.

                            Can you please tell me the date and time your first bar starts as well as the High Low prices.

                              On the 111 second chart first bar is at 4/25 21:48:06...H & L are 2054.00 in NQ.

                              Still get gap in CME ETH & custom globex sessions..
