NTV7B14 - Strategy Analyzer - Optimize Window - Time Frame

Hello:

Some questions:

1. My strategy is encoded to only allow trading between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm. However, there are numerous trades outside this time frame when using the session template "Use Instrument Settings". In NT6.5 this code worked properly.

2. In NT6.5, trading time can be set from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. What is the equivalent to this in NT7? I can use "US Equities RTH" session template to keep trades within appropriate time frame. Is there a link to what time frames all of the session templates correspond to?

Hello tonyh,

Thank you for your post.

Within the Strategy Analyzer you will need to select the Session Template you would like used.

You can see the times associated to each Session Template by going to Tools-->Session Manager and then you can select templates from the drop down window to view days and times.

You may also create a custom template within this window by selecting New.
