When I do this it doesn't use my default bar width. Neither does it use default interval, but that never worked in NT6.5 either and no one seemed to care (I think the forum has three "I'll take it to my development team for future consideration on that particular question"). Personally I think it a bug which shouldn't be allowed to surive 15 generations of updates. Thank you.

Yes, this is expected behavior at this time within NinjaTrader 6.5 and 7 when creating a new chart from within the Market Analyzer window.

You may however create the chart then link the Market Analyzer window and chart that way when selecting a new instrument within the Market Analyzer window it will keep your settings and plot the instrument on the existing chart.

Chart, SuperDOM, Market Analyzer and Basic Entry windows all have link buttons in the top right hand corner. Any window that is linked by color (each link button is set to the same color) will receive the same change of instrument request.

I stand corrected. The link function is really great! And good work on the market analyzer, it's like 50 times faster than in NT 6.5.
