delay on first trade

every time i start ninjatrader, the first trade takes 3-5 seconds to appear on the chart. i click buy or sell, then i have to wait 3-5 seconds, then i see the trade on the chart. the same with trendlines. but - only the first per session. the following trades/trendlines appear immediately on the chart...

Thank you for your post.

I have tested this on my end with a basic chart with no indicators applied and was unable to reproduce.

What version of NinjaTrader 7 do you have installed?

Are the trendlines on your chart something you have drawn manually or are these a 3rd Party indicator you have applied to your chart?

In the message, please include the following:
1.) A link to this forum thread.
2.) Your most current trace and log files.

You will find the file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

Log file will be located by going to Documents->NinjaTrader 7->Log->log.YYYYMMDD.txt
