Suggestion: Eraser in drawing tools

I was surprised to find no eraser in drawing tools. the current implementation is unusual cumbersome and counterproductive.

could you please add an Eraser tool?

EDIT: You can choose to remove every drawing object of a certain type from the Remove Drawing Objects button at the bottom of the list.
