Restore in NT 7 Beta 13 Freezes

I have two computers (one in my trading office and one at home) that I have loaded NT7 Beta 13 on them.

I was able to successfully backup my trading office computer. I created two backup files. One backup file was done using the 32 bit NT 7, and another was done using the 64 bit NT7.

I can not restore either one of these files on my 32bit NT7 home computer. NT7 on my home computer just freeze during the restore operation.

Do you have any suggestions on what I should do to fix this problem ?

(P.S. I have been backing up and restoring files using NT 6.5 with no problems in the past)

farshadro, thanks for reporting do you get any kind of errors you get on the version where it does not restore?

How big is the file to restore?

Is it performing better if you uncheck for example backing up of the database and / or logs files?

The file I am restoring is large around 1.2 GB. I have a large replay file which goes back around a year for multiple instruments.

I will try to uncheck some of the items to reduce the size and see if helps. I will report back on Monday.

Thanks, please do....also keep in mind restoring such a large file will just take some time, thus it could appear as 'frozen' while under the hood the restore is in play....
