    Market Analyzer bug

I was running a relatively simple indicator on a Market Analyzer column, and the indicator plays a WAV file when the Stoch is above 80. This isn't a Market Analyzer alert condition, it's a PlaySound() call from within the indicator itself.

It runs fine...but then I completely closed out that M.A. window...and had no charts running at all...and the WAV files were still being played at intermittent periods. My guess is the M.A., though completely closed, was still running in the background.

This went on for a number of minutes. Then, I opened up a new M.A. window thinking that may stop the old M.A. from running, but it didn't. I can still hear the WAV files being played.

This effect I know for a long time. You can test it with an indicator with a simple print statement. The prints are continuing, when MA is closed.

I just tried using a simple indicator with a Print() statement in the OnBarUpdate() method. It stops printing right as I close the MA.

        What are you doing differently?

I have not been able to reproduce this situation...I tried it with an indicator that called PlaySound(), and I also tried it with an indicator that called Alert(), and neither of them have reproduced the situation.

I'll let you know if it shows up again

In B13 the behavior no longer exists.
