Using an indicator in a strategy based on another dataseries

Hi,

In NT can I use a Indicator whitin a strategy that works on a dataseries that it's not added?

I would like to see if the EMA of a week period on the same instrument as input series is falling:

Falling(EMA(?????,14))

where ??? is a dataseries with diferent dimension in time as input series

joanNT, no you would need to add the needed series and then point to the correct BarsArray to calculate the indicator on then.

If I've have to add another "higher" dataseries then I don't see the trades with the granularity I need, I have the week dataseries and after that 15 minute dataseries and I trade against the 15 minute.

Any suggestion, please?

Sorry I don't follow you - trades would be shown on the primary frame you're strategy runs on, even with submitting to lower granular series.

Yes, that's what I'm trying to say, if my primary series is Week data series and my submiting (second data series) are 15 minutes data series, it's difficut to see the trades on the chart of a week data series...

any suggestion?

You could open up another separate chart to see the realtime executions then as the occur on the 15 min lower granular one.
