Hi all,
This morning immediately following my initiated connection to ZenFire on startup, NT was loading data into my 5 workspaces for each of my 5 instruments and froze up as it got up to load YM data. To solve this I closed the YM workspace so that when restarting NT it would not attempt to load any YM data. Opening up the YM workspace later after a successful startup was no problem. When the NT app freezes I'm forced to stop the NT process before attempting to restart it successfully. sometimes I'll even boot the whole box.
When trying to restart NT immediately again I receive the attached message saying: "Failed to verify license. Please try again in a few minutes." I click "OK" at which point it proceeds to bring me into the NT app anyway without any of my live connections which I didn't want to do so I exit the app. At this point I'm required to wait at least 15 minutes to before attempting to restart again otherwise I'll get that same message.
So, when I click "OK", instead of prompting to see if the user wants or doesn't want to continue running the app, NT starts up the app anyway which for me is a waist of time since, without my live connections, wouldn't want NT to start in that condition.
The most annoying part about it is not the freezing of the app as much as the wait required in order to attempt to restart NT again.
Questions are: (#2 the most important for me)
1. Any thoughts on what's causing the app to freeze on startup? (NT7 specific)
2. Any ideas on what causes this message to display and how to fix it? (NT6 +)
3. Can a prompt be put in for the user to opt out of entering the NT app whenever the Failed to verify license..." message appears?
Regards,
Spartacus
