I was wondering if it was possible to use a backup file created in the current NT7 Beta (13) to restore to an NT 6.5.1000.15 setup. I do understand that there are a lot of things different in NT7 compared to NT6.5 (ninjascript, charting, etc.), so I'm assuming that there are a lot of things that would be contained in the backup file created by NT7 Beta that an NT6.5 setup wouldn't wouldn't be compatible with. However, I am only concerned about the continuity of my "database (historical trade data)" and "historical chart data" info (don't need config files, log/trace, market replay data, ninjascript, templates, or workspace info). If I create a backup file in NT7 Beta 13 of only "database" and "historical chart data" info, will that backup file succesfully restore my trade data to a NT6.5 setup?
Reason I ask is that I've been trading with NT7 Beta since version 2 (October 2009). I want to use a new 3rd party Ninjascript component. However, due to your recent issue with RemoteSoft Protector and NT7 Beta, I am being forced to switch back to NT 6.5 until that issue is resolved. I would like to maintain the continuity of my trade data when switching back, and hence, my question above.......
